Available in 6 or 8 contact versions, with and without locating pegs for board stability, all are surface mount types. Many are available with detection switches allowing your devide to know if a SIM card is present.

Glossary
Push Push type - This low profile SIM card with it's push-push mechanism allows for easy and reliable card insertion. The surface mount design incorporates a card detect switch is available with contact positions for either 6 or 8 pads.
Contact type - An economical connector for use in applications where the SIM card is integrated into the end equipment. The card rests on the connector contacts.
Hinged/ Latching Type - Hinged or latched SIM card holders are often used in cell phones and provide landed contacts to reduce wear during repeated insertions. A chamfered corner prevents the SIM card being wrongly inserted.
Retainer Type - The SIM card slides onto the contacts and is held in place either under a fixed retaining top cover or between retaining slots. A chamfered corner prevents the SIM card being wrongly inserted.
