IDC connectors (Insulated Displacement Connector) are available as sockets, plugs or shrouded headers in a wide range of sizes, pitches and plating options including surface mount, thru hole, right angle, board stacking for those hard to reach areas and fine pitch. Polarization features and optional strain relief's are also available to meet those applications where correct orientation and cable protection are required. All materials are RoHs Compliant, UL Certified and are manufactured to ISO9001:2000 standards.

Most IDC requirements are very customer specific so we have tried to offer as many varieties and options as possible as standard offerings but occasionally the application is even more specific than what we offer as standard. Some specifics may be: Special AWG cable or terminal, specific latching requirements to exceed high vibration testing, custom ejector latches or caps, high thermal insulators that need to meet certain humidity or shock tests, whatever the need please contact a MLE design engineer and they will be able to help you.
